Hoje foi o ultimo dia dos 3. E mais um belo dia. Os deuses estiveram connosco e tivemos mais um dia espectacular. Sol com fartura, temperatura espectacular e trilhos fantásticos.
O dia de hoje apesar de haverem mais quilómetros, deveria ser mais rápido e fácil. E tal confirmou-se. Embora eu não dissesse mais fácil, mas sim menos técnico. Varias subidas em estradao, um par de descidas também bem rápidas.
Pelo meu lado correu 5 estrelas. Arranquei assim que abriu o checkpoint e evitei qualquer confusão. Acabei por fazer uns bons km na frente mas antes do abastecimento já os primeiros me tinham passado (hoje molengaram e do saíram 15 min depois de mim).
Passamos 2 belas portelas e a famosa rota "The Gap". Famosa entre os bttistas ingleses. Belas paisagens...
Mais uma vez fotos serão escassas, apesar de solarengo, os bosques ainda tem muita agua e poças, parece-me que a minha velhinha máquina e capaz de ter sobrevivido a sua ultima aventura.
Today was the last of the BM3D. And what another great one it was. Another gorgeously sunny day and some great trails to enjoy.
Today, although longer, would be quicker and easier. And so it did, but I wouldn't call it easier, just technically easier. There were several fire road climbs and also a couple of fast downhills.
My day was great. Started early and left as soon as the checkpoint opened, avoiding any messy bottlenecks. Still did a few miles alone in the front, but the fastest guys still overtook me before the feedstation.
We rode next to the Tallybont reservoir and did a pair of very scenic tops, including "The Gap".
Once again very few photos, this time I had the batteries, but as the woods are still quite wet, it might seen its last adventure...
